I sent a few people the picture, via email, and low and behold someone wanted to buy that sucker. (And just when I framed it and was going to take it to the FLOW gallery this weekend) Darn. Looks like I'm going to have to come up with more art, since this one didn't even make it to FLOW. Get this, the picture is going to be a Christmas gift. Gawd, I just love that.

Ahem, sorry to splut all this out, but I'm excited as you can tell.

Another thing, too, that might interest some of you. I've really found myself attracted to Surrealist art. I mean it's just an amazing, emotive, often deep art form.

His work is pretty SO damn creepy that I can't stop looking upon it. Thing is...I'd be afraid to hang it in my house because the images are disturbing and I'd be constantly checking to see if the image was still in the frame, or out looking for ME!

Someone so loved the puffin (and his infectious cuteness) that they plucked him off the wall and actually bought him to take home!

I was kinda in shock because I went to pick up the three paintings that I left at the FLOW gallery months ago. __and to my surprise they told me that one had sold the previous week! I was like. *blink blink* "Holy
Crap!" Somebody actually likes my stuff! <3 Strangely enough the check for the painting came in the mail today too.

I have already been painting on some new works to display, as soon as I can I'll post them here. Wish me more luck!

Wow, I'm drawing stuff now and it's pretty cool. Gonna be a great aid in my sculptures, that I will resume again sometime in the distant future.
