The Real Thing

This piece marks a milestone for me, simple and sappy as it is.

You see this is my 100% traditional media piece, my first that involves color anyway. What you see was done (sorry for the rip-off Disney) by me, by hand..and I'm kinda pleased with it: from the freehand drawing to the inking an down to the coloring with brush and pens.

I'll tell you! It's not so easy as erasing using Twisted Brush or Photoshop. When one screws up...well it's tougher to correct. As a matter of fact Mr Duck here taught me quite a lot and will give me the confidence to move on to more complex works.
